As the creator and owner behind Lionize Collective, my passion for nature and botanicals is reflected in each piece of my botanical art. Each piece is made using hand grown, foraged and pressed plants, carefully and lovingly crafted to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are truly stunning. At Lionize, I believe in the power of botanicals to create beauty and happiness in our lives, and I strive to share that beauty with others. Frames and materials are sourced in the most low waste way possible. I try to find frames second hand and if purchased new, I always chose the option with least amount of packaging, and never buy stryofoam or bubblewrap. I use primarily wooden and metal frames, which have longer lives and better end lives.
Nature and plants are extremely important to me, so my focus is preserving them in a way that isn't harmful to the planet. The only toxic material I use is resin and I try to keep it to a minimum.
I believe that here on earth, we have enough of everything already made, that we don't need to create new. With this policy I source thrifted clothing and fabric for all my sun printed projects.
